The cabin is spacious and clean. The modern conviences of hot and cold running water as well as a hot shower are a welcome relief after a hard day on the water. Propane lights, fridge, stove and satellite phone, along with kitchen ware compliment the rest of the amenities. With the addition of a 12 by 28 foot deck across the front of the cabin and the addition of a gas grill as well as an extra fridge for their adult refreshments, most of our guests tell us they think they Died and went to Heaven!
Dafoe cabin sits on an island about half way up or down the lake. This gives the larger groups of eight or ten the opportunity to split up and then meet back at camp for their mid day lunch. The days in June/July are the longest, with daylight lasting up to 20 hours.
